The MOBIL-JET® washers are designed for the cleaning of medium and large sized heavy components avoiding all the drawbacks which arise from the use of a rotating platform for heavy parts. In addition they give faster and more efficient cleaning plus a fully usable and accessible platform.

The operating principle is based on four spray headers that move through 90° with a reciprocating movement around the work platform which remains stationary. A lower spray-bar with a swivelling movement ensures a perfect cleaning of the underside of the components.

MOBIL-JET^® washers can be equipped with folding door balanced by gas springs and safety supports, or with an air operated vertical door (VDT models). The VDT is based on two pneumatic cylinders and an inherently safe pneumatic system which stops automatically even in case of unexpected lack of energy, both air or electricity. The door is interlocked with a cutout of the pump when open.

The wash cycle is automatic, timer controlled, with vapour extraction at the end of the cycle when the centrifugal fan starts automatically and fresh air in introduced into the spay chamber to prevent escape of vapours when opening the door. Models VDT open automatically the door after vapours are removed from the chamber.

The workload platform is moved on wheels with bearings to be easily extracted from the wash chamber for load and unload operation. The folding door acts as a load platform when open while VDT models are equipped with a separate platform, floor mounted.

MOBIL-JET^® washers are equipped with electric heating and/or with a heath exchanger for gas or oil heating. Temperature of the wash liquid is controlled by thermostat with an analogue instrument on the control panel showing the set point and the actual temperature; electric heaters are designed with a heat flux of only 7 w/cm² for long operating life with reduced maintenance. The spray chamber and the tank are insulated to reduce heath loss.

The spray system is designed to keep the velocity of the liquid within 3 m/sec for maximum performances and limited power loss. It is composed by the centrifugal pump, external to the machine and easily accessible for maintenance, and four spray headers with flat pattern calibrated nozzles.

Before re-entering the tank the wash liquid passes through a basket filter fed by gravity and easily accessible for normal cleaning. A pump strainer protects the pump and the nozzles from introduction of solids into the circuit.

MOBIL-JET^® washers are equipped with filling, overweir outlet, drain out of liquid,  marine type clean out door, low level cutout to protect the pump and the heating.

Electric equipments are contained in a box with IP55 protection posed on the right-hand side of the spray chamber. The control panel is separate and can be oriented to the operator ergonomic height. It contains the timer, temperature gauge, switches and function lamps. VDT models have also a two-hands control to close the door.

The MOBIL-JET® washers are produced in five models with platform from mm. 900x900 till mm. 1000x2000 and load capacity up to 2,5 tons and can be equipped with a wide range of accessories such as the oil separator OILNET®, bag or cartridge type filtration systems, automatic filling and more.
